Casilda is a city in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. It is the head town of the Caseros Department, and lies about 45 km (28 mi) west of Rosario and 202 km south-southwest of the provincial capital Santa Fe, on National Route 33. It has a population of about 32,000 inhabitants (2001 census [INDEC]).
Casilda began as an agricultural colony, created in 1870 by the Spanish merchant and banker Carlos Casado del Alisal, on land acquired from the ranch Los Desmochados. Casado del Alisal named it Colonia Candelaria (Candelaria was a stop on the way from Rosario to Mendoza). On 11 November 1873 the colony officially became a town, named Villa Casilda after Casado del Alisal's mother.
Casilda produced the first Argentine shipment of wheat to the European market. In 1883 the railway Ferrocarril Oeste Santafesino reached the town, prompting an accelerated growth and bringing prosperity. Casilda became a city on 19 November 1907.
The city is home to a Rural Extension Agency of the National Agricultural Technology Institute (INTA) and the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences of the National University of Rosario (UNR).

Root are a Czech black metal band.
Root were formed by vocalist Big Boss and guitarist Blackie in late 1987. According to Big Boss, in the beginning, they knew no foreign bands and could do no tape trading. Although the first demo recording mentioned on their homepage's discography section is Deep in Hell, according to their biography, they recorded their first official demo tape Reap of Hell after a few rehearsals. Root played their first concert in September 1988. The next demo cassette War of Rats was released in 1988, followed by Messengers from Darkness in 1989. Vocalist Big Boss played drums on these recordings. Whereas Messengers from Darkness is mentioned as "the third and last" demo cassette in their biography, the discography section lists The Trial as the last one.
In 1990, the band released the single 7 černých jezdců / 666, with artwork done by Master's Hammer vocalist František Štorm. To promote their first album, Zjevení (again with artwork by Štorm), they recorded a video for their song "Hrbitov", released on the Czech Death Metal Session compilation, with photographs by Štorm. Zjevení was also released as The Revelation.
Driving home I was miles away
When I thought that I saw your face
Late at night, a lightning flash
Put reality in it's place
I never saw the warning signs
'til it was too late
I'm a casualty
A victim of my own circumstance
A casualty a hopeless case
That never stood a chance at all
I never knew what hit me
Like somebody put out the light
I was going crazy
Couldn't tell if it was day or night
I must have lost direction
A simple hit and run
Chorus
Out of control on a one way street
Feeling myself beginning to slide
Out of my head too blind to see
That you were there just for the ride
Living this life in tragedy
Why did this happen to me
Chorus
I never stood a chance
